My inspiration for creating APAWLO Pets came from my beloved red cattle dog, Winnie.

Witnessing her zest for life and unwavering loyalty, despite going through some really difficult challenges - a degenerative joint disease and severe reactivity after being attacked at a dog park - ignited my passion ensure that all dogs have the opportunity to live their lives to the absolute fullest.

Owning a reactive dog meant that going for a walk down the street wasn't ever a simple task. I found myself driving all around my city, searching for parks, walks, and nature reserves where we could explore and have enough space to start working through her reactivity.

This is what led to the development of our first product, our multifunctional car seat cover. Our active lifestyle and daily escapades created an extremely fulfilled and happy dog, but my poor car was suffering as a result - dirt, hair, sand, mud, drool - you name it, it was caked into my car seats!

I was determined to spend less time worried about the messy aftermath of an adventure and how long it would take to clean up, and more time experiencing new adventures and training with Winnie.

At APAWLO Pets, we strongly believe that being a dog owner goes beyond the mere basic responsibilities. It's about going the extra mile to provide our pups with active, enriched, and fulfilled lives.
